EMPOWERED FOR ETERNITY

In Romans 10:10-11 (KJV) the Apostle Paul writes, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

Within this text, the Apostle puts forth a couple of things, the heart is used as a conduit towards righteousness. The Bible in Proverbs 4:23 warns us to guard our heart for out of it flows all the issues of life and of course, it means EVERYTHING!

One thing Satan desires so much is to keep a child of God pinned down in his/her sins. One of the subtle ways he does it is to prevent a child of God from following the Savior’s command to seek forgiveness for his or her sins by surrendering the heart to God and confessing sins to be forgiven. Seeking forgiveness for sins is the act of seeking forgiveness from sins from God or our fellow human beings against whom we have committed sin. Looking up the word “forgiveness” online, it is defined as “the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.” Forgiveness is a two-way street with just one objective that leads to just one destination, the redemption of a sinner through Jesus Christ.
